Buy Buy Baby: Pitch Work (Social)

In 2021, we were invited to pitch to become Buy Buy Baby’s social agency. This opportunity came after doing tons of work with them around livestream shopping events (for those, I wrote entire scripts for 1-2 hour events!). Buy Buy Baby’s current social content was flat and sales-y, which heavily juxtaposed the content that consumers, parents especially, were beginning to prefer on social: real, relatable stories. That understanding inspired the work we put together for our pitch (as seen below!). Ultimately, the decision came down to cost, so we didn’t win the pitch. But, my design partner and I loved what we put together.

A note from me: 

I had so much fun creating the brand’s voice and essence, wanting this group to feel seen, heard, accepted, and empowered. The vibe embodied the shared mindset of parents: None of us know what we’re doing, so let’s just laugh about it. I supported the team’s pitch process via development of the brand’s manifesto, tone of voice guide, and social assets.
